Soft Skill Development and Career Counselling Workshop

The Career & Counselling Cell, Bharathidasan University, organized 20, Soft Skills Development and Career Counselling Workshops (2 days each) in the 10 Bharathidasan University Constitution Colleges (Thiruthuraipoondi, Perambalur, Orathanadu, Nannilam, Inamkulathur, Vedaranyam, Veppur, Aranthangi, Nagappatinam and Lalgudi) and  10 Bharathidasan University Departments (Department of Geography, Department of History, Department of Remote Science, University A/C Auditorium, Department of Commerce & Financial Studies, Department of Bio Informatics, Informatics Centre, Department of Physical Education and BUTP Auditorium) benefitting a total number of 4,531 students. The students were trained in the arts of soft skills required to secure jobs and build careers. They were also exposed to the employment market conditions through mock interviews were provided counselling to help them choose the right career path. They were briefed about the various opportunities available to them in the job market as well as higher studies
