About Placement and Training Cell, BDU

Placement Training Cell (PTC) of Bharathidasan University has been actively conducting various programmes for the benefit of students since January 2015. As per the UGC XII Plan Guidelines, the Career and Counselling Cell (CCC) was established on 9th January, 2016, which is functioning in line and along with the PTC. Both Cells understand the career objectives of students keeping in mind the current trends in the competitive world. In this respect, these Cells impart multiple skills to students by organizing various skill development and career counselling programmes and workshops. It also aims to facilitate students to secure good jobs by conducting Recruitment Drives and Job Fairs. Overall, the Placement and Training Cell and the Career and Counselling Cell aim at improving multiple skills of the students including soft skills and guiding them to secure good jobs, choose right career paths, and lead joyous lives; thereby molding students to become good citizens and good human beings.
