Youth Leadership Development Programme

With a view to helping the students with regard to equipping them to face the real world and creating leaders for the next generation, Bharathidasan University’s Placement and Training Cell and Lions Club District 324-A2, organized a Youth Leadership Development Programme for the students studying in Bharathidasan University and its affiliated Colleges in and around Tiruchirappalli Corporation. This was a Free 3 Days Residential Training Programme, held on 30^th, 31^st Jan and 1^st Feb 2015 at Hall Mark Business School, Trichy. This Programme aimed at targeting the younger generation and shaping them in skills like, leadership, literary, personality development, social thoughts and responsibility, behavioural aspects, etc., to promote leaders for the next generation. Leading and reputed resource persons and trainers from various fields like Thiru. Irai Anbu, IAS, Thiru. Gnani, etc. trained the students. All expenditure of the Programme like, accommodation, food, course kit, course materials, etc., was borne by the organizers. Totally 100 students (50 Bays and 50 Girls) were selected from various Arts and Science Colleges, in and around Trichy Corporation based on their merits, skills and talents. All UG / PG Final Year students studying in Bharathidasan University or its affiliated Colleges in and around Tiruchirappalli Corporation were eligible for participating in the selection process.
