Career Guidance and Counselling Programme

About 100 graduates attended the Career Guidance and Counseling Program, jointly organized by the Placement and Training Cell, Bharathidasan University and District Employment office, Trichy on 5th June 2017. Mrs. Mahalakshmi, Deputy Director, District Employment Office said that graduates should develop their skills and knowledge according to industry expectations which would lead them to get lots of openings in various Central and State Governments and also in private sector. Mr. Vasudevan, District Employment Officer, implored the graduates to plan and prepare for competitive exams like TNPSC, UPSC and other career options. Dr. N. Prasanna, Coordinator, Placement and Training Cell, Bharathidasan University said that the right kind of training would help the students to achieve goals and build their careers in both higher education and employment. Mr. R. Bhaskaran, Career Counselor, International Skills Associated Council, explained in detailed about career options, skill development, soft skills, competitive exams and cleared all the queries raised by the participants.
